Foster Garvey is pleased to announce the promotions of two senior leaders. Effective May 1, 2026, Scott Flichtbeil was promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Andrew Randles was promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
“Scott’s and Andrew’s promotions are the result of their skill, hard work and dedication,” said Rafael Stone, co-chair of the firm. “We appreciate everything they do for the firm.”
Scott previously served as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer for nearly five and a half years and before that, as CFO. Based in Seattle, Scott focuses on the long-term strategy of the firm and oversees the day-to-day operations and administrative functions. He works closely with other firm leaders on efforts impacting strategic growth and sustainability, including budget management, recruiting, capital structures and attorney compensation. Prior to joining Foster Garvey, Scott worked at other Seattle-based law firms, as well as professional service firms. He earned his MBA from Seattle University.
Andrew was previously the firm’s Director of Finance & Accounting. As CFO, he works closely with Scott, the firm’s co-chairs, the Executive Committee and other key stakeholders on the firm’s financial operations. Based in Portland, he leads the development and execution of the budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis processes across the firm’s six offices. As a member of the senior leadership team, Andrew implements financial strategies that optimize cash flow, enhance profitability and improve overall efficiency. In addition to his role at Foster Garvey, Andrew previously served as the president of the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC). He was recently named to the Portland Business Journal’s 2026 40 Under 40 list.
These promotions reflect the instrumental role Scott and Andrew have played in the firm’s strong performance, and demonstrate Foster Garvey’s investment in strong, growth-focused leadership with an eye toward the future.
