Foster Garvey is pleased to announce that Bethany Brown has joined the firm as its new Senior Director of Attorney Recruiting, based in the Seattle office. With more than 25 years of experience in human resources and talent acquisition, she will oversee the firm’s attorney recruitment strategy, managing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract and retain top legal talent.
With extensive experience in legal recruiting, Bethany has served as Director of Talent Acquisition at Stoel Rives and Director of Legal Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion at Miller Nash. A firm rehire, Bethany is a familiar face to many and served in a recruiting role at Foster Pepper prior to the merger from 2005 to 2019.
Bethany will lead Foster Garvey’s strategic initiatives around attorney recruitment. Bethany described rejoining the firm as a “full circle moment” and said, “I’m focused on helping to bring in experienced talent who align with the firm’s culture and goals. It’s a role I’m deeply excited about, not just because of the opportunity to help shape the future of the firm, but because I understand, more than anyone, how important it is to bring the right people in and make them feel like they belong.”
“Bethany has extensive experience in legal recruiting and important markets to the firm,” said Scott Flichtbeil, Chief Operating Officer of Foster Garvey. “Her leadership will be fundamental to the continued success of our firm, and we’re thrilled to welcome her back.”
