We are pleased to welcome Rebecca Spira as an associate in the Litigation practice, based in Portland. Her practice spans employment, commercial, toxic tort, general liability insurance and products liability litigation. Becca has represented clients and participated in mediations in a wide variety of cases, including product liability, mass tort, employment and bad faith insurance claims.

Before joining Foster Garvey, Becca was a litigation associate for a national law firm in Portland and clerked for Magistrate Judges Carolyn K. Delaney and Kendall J. Newman at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. She also served as an immigration attorney for the Capitol Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition (CAIR) in Washington, D.C., representing detained non-citizens in removal proceedings.

Becca graduated cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was an associate for the Chicago-Kent Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Hon. John Robert Blakely of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She holds a bachelor's degree from Colorado College.
