We are pleased to announce that Asti Gallina has rejoined the firm as Counsel in the Litigation practice. Based in the Spokane office, Asti primarily practices commercial litigation, working with business owners to resolve their issues – from contract disputes to employment issues, to partnerships and corporate dissolutions.
Asti returns to the firm after working as a Member at Spokane-based Riverside NW Law Group. She litigated a variety of labor and employment cases, including a complex appeal involving the Washington Law Against Discrimination (WLAD). She also defended Spokane business owners in employment and partnership-related claims.
“We are thrilled to welcome Asti back to Foster Garvey,” said Ben Hodges, Co-Chair of the Litigation practice. “She is trusted counsel to business owners and brings a breadth of experience in complex commercial and employment disputes.”
“Asti understands the dynamics of doing business in Spokane and the issues that matter most to our clients throughout Washington,” said John Ray Nelson, Co-Chair of the Litigation practice. “We are genuinely excited to welcome her back and continue growing the strength of our litigation bench in this market.”
Asti earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was a managing editor of the Washington Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. Before entering private practice and joining Foster Garvey as an associate, she clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington State University.
