Rachel A. Hellman
Overview
Rachel supports Foster Garvey’s ERISA and tax attorneys in the implementation and operation of ESOPs as well as other business matters including mergers, reorganizations and acquisitions.
With a background in pension administration and consulting, Rachel has more than 30 years of experience. She is responsible for plan document preparation and submission; ongoing document maintenance for more than 100 defined contribution plans, including summary plan descriptions, amendments, corporate resolutions, plan terminations and IRS compliance resolution programs; and the preparation of DOL audit responses and Voluntary Fiduciary Compliance Program applications. Rachel also updates the annual stock records for dozens of ESOP-owned companies and assists with corporate maintenance and due diligence matters.
