Overview
Penny is an associate in the firm’s Investment Management practice.
She gained experience as a two-time summer associate at Foster Garvey, where she she contributed to projects across multiple practice groups, including pro bono matters. In law school, Penny served as Associate Editor-in-Chief (External) of the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts, Director of Mentorship for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and Vice President of Diversity for the Technology Law Society. She also participated in the University of Washington School of Law’s Mediation Clinic, where she completed mediation training, and the Technology Law and Public Policy Clinic.
Before law school, Penny worked as a paralegal at an immigration law firm, where she assisted on a range of visa and adjustment of status matters and supported clients through complex filings and interviews.
She holds a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
