Overview
Rebecca is a member of the firm's Litigation practice.
She is an experienced litigator whose practice includes employment, commercial, toxic tort, general liability insurance and products liability litigation. Rebecca has represented clients and participated in mediations in a wide variety of cases, including product liability, mass tort, employment and bad faith insurance claims.
Before joining Foster Garvey, Rebecca served as a litigation associate for a national law firm based in Portland. She clerked for Magistrate Judges Carolyn K. Delaney and Kendall J. Newman at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. In addition, Rebecca was an immigration attorney for the Capitol Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition (CAIR) in Washington D.C., where she represented detained non-citizens in removal proceedings.
She graduated cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was an associate for the Chicago-Kent Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Hon. John Robert Blakey of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She holds a bachelor's degree from Colorado College.
