Overview
Rachel supports Foster Garvey's ERISA and tax attorneys in the implementation and operation of ESOPs as well as other business matters including mergers, reorganizations and acquisitions.
With a background in pension administration and consulting, Rachel has more than 30 years of experience. She is responsible for plan document preparation and submission; ongoing document maintenance for more than 100 defined contribution plans, including summary plan descriptions, amendments, corporate resolutions, plan terminations and IRS compliance resolution programs; and the preparation of DOL audit responses and Voluntary Fiduciary Compliance Program applications. Rachel also updates the annual stock records for dozens of ESOP-owned companies and assists with corporate maintenance and due diligence matters.
