Overview

Paul Heer represents and advises institutional investors across the United States on domestic and international alternative investments.

His practice specializes in advising public pension funds on a wide range of investment structures, including private equity funds, hedge funds, collective investment trusts, SBICs, co-investments, real estate, advisory and platform relationships, and other alternative arrangements.

Paul has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Leveraged Buyouts and Private Equity Law and has been named a Rising Star by Washington Super Lawyers. Additionally, he was selected as a Business Law Fellow by the American Bar Association for the Institutional Investors Committee.

Outside of his investment management work, Paul serves as Co-Chair of Foster Garvey’s Recruiting Committee and has held leadership positions with several Pacific Northwest organizations, including the Seattle Clemency Project, where he was President. His dedication to pro bono work has earned him numerous accolades, including the APEX and Service & Leadership Awards from the Washington State Bar Association.
