Brian provides legal and regulatory services to the food and alcoholic beverage industries.

Brian's varied experience includes compliance with FDA, USDA, TTB and FTC laws and regulations; alcoholic-beverage licensing and compliance among all tiers in all 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico; acquisitions, leasing, service contracts, distributorships, sponsorships, co-packing and co-manufacturing, and other transactions; and corporate matters, including formation, amendments, mergers and acquisitions, and dissolutions.

Brian writes frequently about the laws and policies affecting food and alcoholic beverage companies. He authored "FSMA on the Farm," a comprehensive legal handbook designed to assist agribusinesses in understanding how FDA food-safety rules apply to their operations. His scholarship has appeared in the Journal of Food Law and Policy, and he is a frequent contributing author in Beverage Media magazine.
