Overview
Asti primarily practices commercial litigation, working with business owners to resolve a wide range of disputes — from complex contract and corporate governance matters to employment issues, partnership conflicts and land use appeals. Her practice includes representing companies and developers in high-stakes commercial and regulatory disputes, as well as advising on internal governance and business dissolution matters.
Prior to joining Foster Garvey as Counsel, Asti worked as a Member at a Spokane-based firm, where she maintained a broad commercial litigation practice. In addition to handling employment and partnership disputes—including complex appeals under the Washington Law Against Discrimination (WLAD) in both state and federal court— she represented businesses in contract and subcontractor litigation, intellectual property disputes, corporate governance matters and land use appeals.
Asti earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was a Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. Before entering private practice, she clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Prior to law school, Asti served as a Teach for America corps member and taught high school science in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington State University.
