Mike Vaska Joins the Cascade Public Media Board’s Nominating and Governance Committee
Mike Vaska has joined the Cascade Public Media Board of Directors, serving on its Nominating & Governance Committee. The son of a Russian refugee who came to the United States after World War II, Mike has served in a variety of civic roles, including advocating for light rail transit and as board chair of Mainstream Republicans of Washington. He also brings years of media experience to the board, having been outside counsel to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and vice-chair of Crosscut Public Media before it joined Cascade Public Media.
