Happy Anniversary, Foster Garvey PC
It was one year ago today that two esteemed law firms based out of the Pacific Northwest merged to form Foster Garvey PC. After going at it alone for a combined era that spanned more than 170 years, Garvey Schubert Barer, PC and Foster Pepper PLLC joined forces. As a result, a full-service law firm of more than 150 attorneys with offices in Seattle, Portland, Washington, D.C., New York, Spokane and Beijing, China, emerged.
Shortly after the merger, the COVID-19 pandemic hit all people across the globe. Then, social unrest throughout the United States joined the center stage, with continuing protests and riots occurring in almost every major city. Most recently, wildfires of historic magnitude hit the Pacific Northwest. On top of all of these life challenges, the attorneys and staff of Foster Garvey PC worked hard to maintain a focus on serving clients and our communities, as well as integrating the people and systems of two organizations.
The success of any organization is the result of the combined efforts of the individuals who work for the organization. Despite all of the life obstacles that we have faced in these last 12 months, with the support, enthusiasm and dedication of our attorneys and staff, Foster Garvey is persevering during these difficult times.
I am sincerely grateful for the contributions made by our attorneys and staff this past year, enabling our attorneys to serve our clients and communities without interruption or delay. Additionally, I am appreciative for the unwavering support I have personally received from family, colleagues, friends, clients and the members of the tax community over the past year. It is these strong bonds that have helped me navigate through the speed bumps in the rearview mirror and will continue to assist me on the road ahead.
Foster Garvey PC is now one year old. We hope this anniversary is one of many more to come! Thank you for your continued support.
