She recently contributed to criminal casework and court proceedings at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Yosemite National Park. Prior to law school, Morgan worked in healthcare and early childhood education, where she developed strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills in high-responsibility environments. She holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington.

Penny Pathanaporn
Rising 3L | University of Washington School of Law

Penny returns to Foster Garvey after a successful summer with the firm in 2024. At UW Law, she is an active member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, Tech Law Society and Law and Business Association, and volunteers at the Asian Bar Association of Washington Legal Clinic. Prior to law school, Penny worked at an immigration law firm where she assisted on a range of visa and adjustment cases and supported clients through complex filings and interviews. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Each summer associate will be paired with their own Principal mentor, Associate buddy and Workflow Coordinator throughout the program. This personalized approach ensures they receive guidance and support while working on various projects within the firm's practice groups. By engaging in challenging assignments, the Summer Associates will gain firsthand experience that reflects the realities of practicing law at Foster Garvey.

“It’s always a joy to welcome new talent to the firm,” said Bethany Brown, Senior Director of Attorney Recruiting. “Our summer associates bring fresh energy, curiosity and a real enthusiasm for the work. I’m excited to see the connections they build and the contributions they make over the coming weeks.”

We are looking forward to a successful and rewarding summer with the incoming 2025 Summer Associates as they embark on their legal careers and contribute to helping the firm deliver best-in-class legal services to clients across the diverse industries we serve.
