Foster Garvey is pleased to announce the addition of Alina A. Kipnis to the Business & Corporate Finance team as an associate in the firm’s New York office. Alina’s arrival further bolsters a roster of over a dozen attorneys welcomed into Foster Garvey this year, solidifying rapid growth across the full-service, bicoastal legal firm.

Alina brings nearly a decade of legal experience to Foster Garvey’s Business & Corporate Finance practice. Her practice focuses on representing emerging, high-growth companies of all sizes through the various phases of their life cycles, including equity and debt financings, and day-to-day corporate governance. Her practice also focuses on counseling investors, and venture capital firms, offering strategic guidance for their investments in early and high-growth companies. Additionally, she has prior experience in navigating complex structured finance transactions from inception to completion and advising financial institutions on risk and regulatory compliance.

Before joining Foster Garvey, Alina was an associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP. Her professional experience includes supporting global financial institutions in matters related to financial risk and regulatory compliance, particularly in recovery and resolution planning, heightened standards and contingency planning regulations.

Alina holder her undergraduate degree from New York University and her law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
