The FCC plans to host two opportunities to secure a signal in 2021. It has already scheduled an auction for open allotments and expired construction permits, and also plans to announce (later this year) the first noncommercial filing window in over a decade.
FCC attorney Melodie Virtue and Public Media Company’s Evran Kavlak – both active in previous FCC license auctions and NCE filing windows – will take attendees through the steps needed to decide if participating in these opportunities for your station is worthwhile, and best practices of how best to proceed.
