Erika is a commercial transactions and corporate attorney with a practice focused on clients’ business needs. She represents businesses at all stages of growth, from start-ups to well established companies, across a number of industries to advise on transactional needs, navigate operational issues and help secure financing. 

Erika’s consumer brands, food & beverage, and beauty & wellness practices include representation of brands developing new to market products, technologies, and services shaping the future of their industries and brands producing familiar products and delivering well established services. Erika advises domestic brands as well as international brands seeking to expand into the United States in these sectors. Erika counsels clients with respect to regulatory compliance, logistics, operations, manufacturing and packing, brokerage, distribution, supply, research and development, intellectual property matters, and other services arrangements and other commercial matters, capital raises, financing, debt funding and exit transactions. 

Erika’s yachts, ships & submersibles practice includes representing domestic and international yacht owners in a broad range of issues and transactions, including the purchase and sale of vessels, new build and refit construction, registration and flag documentation, yacht management, crew issues and operational matters. She assists clients with both the daily legal needs of yacht ownership and with the unique challenges and complexities of designing, building, maintaining, purchasing and selling yachts, ships and submersibles.
