Washington Joint Minority Mentorship ProgramJoin the South Asian Bar Association of Washington (SABAW), in partnership with a team of seven minority bar associations, for the Washington Joint Minority Mentorship Program kick-off event on March 2, 2021!

The Washington Joint Minority Mentorship Program aims to pair law students and new lawyers who self-identify as being from historically marginalized or underrepresented groups, with mentor attorneys and judges to support mentees as they prepare to enter and navigate their legal careers.

Once a year, participants are selected and formally matched. At the mandatory kick-off event, pairs will meet to create their own agreement regarding discussion topics, meetings and follow-up activities. The formal program will last through 2022. But we hope the relationships will continue beyond!

REGISTER NOW: Visit the Washington Joint Minority Mentorship Program website for details and to register for the kick-off event on Tuesday, March 2 from 6-9pm via Zoom. Pre-registration is required so we can match mentees and mentors in advance.

Contact SABAW President E. Rania Rampersad at rania.rampersad@gmail.com, or Paul Heer at paul.heer@foster.com, with any questions.
