Overview

At Foster Garvey, our dedication to China and its complex legal landscape stretches back to the earliest days of our legacy firm Garvey Schubert Barer, PC. Founder Stan Barer famously helped to re-establish shipping trade relations between China and the United States after a 30-year hiatus. In 2004, we opened an office in Beijing to better serve our clients doing business in China, as well as Chinese companies seeking to expand into the United States. We recognize the unique challenges posed by China's regulatory environment, and we work tirelessly to help our clients navigate them. From immigration and tax issues to litigation and cultural differences, we provide our clients with the support and guidance they need to thrive.

Our experience in China is complemented by our expertise in U.S. regulatory matters. We have successfully represented a diverse array of foreign businesses before U.S. regulatory agencies, drawing on our wealth of experience to help our clients achieve their goals. At Foster Garvey, we are proud to be a trusted partner to businesses operating in the United States and China alike.
