Law360 interviewed Traci Metcalf on the heels of the firm’s announcement that she would become its first-ever Chief People Officer. Metcalf told Law360 Pulse that “her new role would further integrate human resources with the firm’s executive and management committees, allowing for more opportunities to bring people-focused ideas and initiatives to the forefront.”

Having played a critical role in the firm’s 2019 merger and through the COVID-19 pandemic, Metcalf is focused on enabling growth as the firm continues its integration and looks toward the future. “We hope to thoughtfully grow, to really help bring the right people into the firm,” she said. “We realized after the merger and during the COVID-19 pandemic that we really are a people business, and whether it’s attorneys or clients, it’s the people that make our business successful and unique.”
