As meeting restrictions are lifted, planners are busy rebooking and contracting the meetings and events that have been put on hold. Greg Duff has been busy advising on those contracts. He will be sharing insights about some of the issues he has encountered, and lessons learned during the last 18 months.

Specific topics include:

    • how force majeure really works and lessons for negotiating your next force majeure provision
    • lessons on re-booking
    • practice guidance on the dreaded group addendum

Other issues that may be covered include COVID protocol legalities, construction / renovation, cancellation, third-party providers (e.g. sky divers) and political programs or events.
