The H1N1 virus continues to spread and has the potential to waylay an employer's workforce. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has updated its guidance for employers with the white paper "Pandemic Preparedness in the Workplace and the Americans with Disabilities Act."

The guidance addresses many common concerns relating to H1N1 such as how employers should prepare for the pandemic and manage their workforces without running afoul of any employment laws (including the ADA).
