Foster Pepper Welcomes Two New First Year Associates

Foster Pepper is pleased to welcome two first year associates to its Seattle office. Both previously worked at the firm as summer associates in 2014 and have completed their law degrees this past spring with distinguished academic performance.

Joining Foster Pepper are:

Philip Paine joins the firm’s Health Care and Real Estate practices. He received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law this past year where he was the Managing Editor for Washington Law Review and the Treasurer and Logistics Coordinator for Green Law. Philip received the CALI Excellence for Future Awards in Property, Torts, and Legal Writing and was a member of the Health Law Association and 1L Moot Court. Philip received his B.A. in Economics and Humanities from Seattle University in 2011. 

Christopher Rogers joins the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice after recently earning his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. He was the Associate Managing Editor for the American University Law Review and the Executive Editor for the National Security Law Brief. Christopher was also an Emma Gillett & Ellen Spencer Mussey Fellow, a Quarterfinalist for the Alvina Rickman Myer 1L Moot Court Competition and recipient of the Gillett Prize in 2015. Christopher received his B.A. from Middlebury College in 2010 and is fluent in Bokmål Norwegian and Russian.
