Foster Pepper is pleased to welcome Of Counsel attorney Haiyun Damon-Feng to the firm’s Seattle office. Haiyun joins the firm’s Investment Management practice, which provides sophisticated and efficient counsel to clients on a broad range of transactions. She will also co-chair the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
Haiyun focuses her practice on alternative investments and general corporate matters. Her primary focus is in domestic and international investments for public and private institutional investors across a range of alternative investments.
In addition to her investment management practice, Haiyun maintains an active pro bono practice focused on immigrants’ and children’s rights. Haiyun works with asylum seekers across the United States and with rapid response teams to address emerging issues along the southern border. Haiyun also represents abused and neglected children in dependency proceedings and survivors of domestic violence in civil protection proceedings.
Prior to joining Foster Pepper, Haiyun worked as an Associate in the Private Funds and Transactional Tax groups of two New York-based law firms and as a Pro Bono Coordinating Attorney at Kids In Need of Defense (KIND). She earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and earned both a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Philosophy from Purdue University.
