Foster Pepper Welcomes New Member James Moser

Foster Pepper is pleased to announce the addition of James Moser to the firm’s Spokane office as a member of the Business practice.

James focuses his practice on counseling clients with the design, implementation and operation of qualified defined contribution plans, executive compensation and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).

Prior to joining Foster Pepper, James practiced with Seigfried Bingham in Kansas City, Mo. His previous experience includes serving as an ERISA Enforcement Advisor and the National ESOP Advisor for the Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration where he identified and corrected violations of ERISA in connection with ESOPs, including improper valuations, prohibited loans, discrimination issues, voting rights, diversification and refinancing.

He received his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, his J.D. from the University of Valparaiso School of Law and his B.S. from Utah State University.
