Foster Pepper Names Three New Members

Foster Pepper PLLC is pleased to announce that Vandana Harris, Allison Schwartzman and Sabina Shapiro have been promoted to Members in its Seattle office.

Vandana Harris, formerly a Senior Associate with Jones Day in New York, is part of the firm’s Investment Management group. She concentrates her practice on structuring investments and tax consequences with respect to private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cross border transactions, including inbound and outbound U.S. investments and advice on Double Tax Treaties. Vandana also counsels clients on a broad range of US tax issues and general corporate and other legal matters. She received a LL.M Degree in International Taxation from New York University School of Law; a J.D. from The College of Law, London; and a LL.B Degree from the University of Bristol.

Allison Schwartzman is part of Foster Pepper’s Municipal Government and Public Finance practice groups. She focuses on all aspects of public finance including multifamily and elderly housing, higher education, health care and 501(c)(3) financings as well as traditional municipal bonds. Allison routinely assists in roles including bond counsel, underwriter's counsel and borrower's counsel. She received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and B.A. from Pomona College in Claremont, California.

Sabina Shapiro is part of the firm’s Real Estate practice group, representing buyers, sellers and lenders in acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing and financing of commercial, retail and multi-family projects. She received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and B.A., Public Policy, with honors, from Stanford University.
