Chadwell is nationally recognized for his experience in white collar criminal defense. His practice focuses on complex and serious white collar, regulatory and civil investigations and prosecutions with a particular emphasis on environmental issues and securities fraud. He comes to the firm from McKay Chadwell, a boutique firm he co-founded in 1995. Prior to establishing McKay Chadwell, he spent ten years with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle and Denver where he prosecuted natural resources cases involving violations of the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Lacey Act, Marine Pollution Act and others. After serving as Chief of the Criminal Division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle, Chadwell returned to the Major Crimes Trial Unit, where he focused on environmental and foreign organized crime cases.
