Foster Pepper is pleased to announce the addition of three new attorneys to its Seattle office. Joining the firm are Martha Belcher, Tacy Hass and Stefan Szpajda.
Martha Belcher has significant experience representing banks and financial institutions with issues related to risk management, mortgage and consumer lending, mortgage servicing and wealth management. She joins the firm’s Business practice as Of Counsel and adds extensive knowledge in bank products, private banking and secondary marketing. Prior to joining Foster Pepper, Martha served as in-house counsel to numerous banks including CIT Bank, OneWest Bank, Bank of the West and IndyMac Federal Bank. She received her J.D. from Hasting College of the Law (cum laude) and her B.A. from Gettysburg College (summa cum laude).
Tacy Hass focuses on federal and state environmental law, with a particular emphasis on water law and natural resources matters as an Associate in the firm’s Environmental practice. Prior to joining the firm, Tacy practiced at White & Jankowski LLP, a water and natural resources boutique law firm in Denver. She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and her B.A. from the University of Southern California (summa cum laude).
Stefan Szpajda join’s the firm’s Intellectual Property practice as Of Counsel and focuses his practice on representing technology companies in patent and trade secrets litigation. He has significant experience in counseling clients in disputes over license agreements, software development agreements and trademarks. Stefan also provides counsel regarding patent infringement, breach of contract and tort actions. He received his B.C.L-LL.B. from McGill University and his B.A. from McGill University.
