Russell is a member of the firm’s Business and Investment Management groups, with a practice that includes direct and structured investments, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. His primary focus is investments in private equity funds, hedge funds, and open-ended, commingled funds and accounts.

Russell also advises and assists companies in private offerings, including entity formation, structuring, offering materials, and SEC compliance.  As a member of the firm’s Emerging Companies and Venture Capital industry group, Russell works closely with entrepreneurs on all legal, business, and practical issues facing startup companies.
