Joanna 's practice is concentrated in litigation and dispute resolution with a focus on providing pro bono legal representation to persons of indigent means and 501(c)(3) nonprofit entities. She directs and manages Foster Pepper’s wide-ranging pro bono cases and projects, advises the firm on pro bono policy, serves as a liaison to local public interest organizations, and authors the firm’s pro bono annual reports. Joanna holds several leadership positions in the community, including serving on the Legal Aid for Washington Fund and Campaign for Equal Justice Board of Directors and as the Chair of the Pro Bono Coordinators and Counsels in Seattle. She has authored numerous articles on corporate pro bono and often presents at Continuing Legal Education seminars on pro bono legal topics. Joanna has been recognized through honors and awards for her dedication to access to justice initiatives and for providing legal advocacy to those who need it the most.
