Foster Pepper’s Rod Dembowski Selected Co-Chair of ABA’s Real Estate Litigation Committee

July 20, 2010 – Rod Dembowski, a Member in Foster Pepper’s Litigation, Real Estate and Financial Institutions practice groups, has been selected as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Real Estate Litigation Committee, Section of Litigation, for 2010-2011. The Real Estate Litigation Committee is involved with real estate disputes and their resolution, including issues of ownership, purchase and sale, title, casualty, and land use. The Committee presents topical and relevant discussions at both the Section and ABA Annual Meetings for litigators involved in real estate disputes.

Rod's practice is concentrated in commercial dispute resolution, emphasizing real estate, related lending matters, and commercial contract disputes. Rod has successfully represented clients at both the trial and appellate court level in matters involving commercial leases; real property purchase and sale agreements; real property boundary and easement disputes; adverse possession claims; property contamination; broker commissions; owner association disputes; business partnerships; and non-compete litigation. Rod also has extensive experience in enforcing and collecting on judgments earned on behalf of clients, and he has secured multiple significant recoveries for clients through an aggressive and creative enforcement practice.
