June 25, 2010 – J. Tayloe Washburn, former Managing Partner of Foster Pepper PLLC and Immediate Past Chair of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, received the 2010 Edward E. Carlson Award for Outstanding Alumni from Leadership Tomorrow. A Class of 1990 Leadership Tomorrow graduate, Washburn’s legal practice focuses on developing and managing entitlement strategies on large and complex, public and private projects. His community involvement spans decades and is wide-ranging, and includes the Washington Aerospace Partnership; Port of Seattle's Century Agenda Process; Washington State Climate Action Team; Washington State Growth Management Act Advisory Commission; Cascade Land Conservancy; Urban Land Institute; Alki Foundation; Alliance for Education; and the Seattle-King County Economic Development Council.
