Foster Pepper Welcomes New Commercial Litigation Associate Lauren King

April 20, 2012 - Foster Pepper PLLC is pleased to welcome Lauren King to its Seattle office.

Lauren’s practice focuses on commercial litigation. She has represented clients in disputes involving intellectual property rights, trade secrets, class actions, construction defects, toxic torts, bankruptcy, securities, and Indian law. Lauren’s tribal litigation work includes defending treaty hunting and fishing rights, drafting and analyzing tribal codes, and government relations. Her intellectual property law experience includes representing clients in disputes pertaining to trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property rights; and advising clients with respect to privacy and data security obligations under federal law and applicable state security, privacy, and breach notification laws.

Lauren previously worked as an Associate for Byrnes Keller Cromwell LLP and K&L Gates LLP. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Indian Bar Association and is a Fellow of the Washington State Bar Association’s (WSBA) Leadership Institute.

Lauren received her J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School and B.A., with distinction, Business Honors, from the University of Washington.
