- Advise on permitting over 1,000 MW of wind energy in Washington State.
- Regulatory advice on methane digesters.
- Advise on biodiesel refinery siting.
- Obtain expedited Seattle Steam master use permits for wood fuel handling facility including boiler/stack replacement. The downtown facility provides steam energy to ˜ 175 downtown buildings.
- Assist Washington Biodiesel LLC in creating a public-private partnership with Port Worden. The Port, with our client’s assistance, secured the first loans available through Washington’s Bio-Energy Loan Program. The project includes biofuel oilseed crushers and supporting infrastructure and facilities.
- Advise on King County’s Cedar Hills Landfill Gas to Energy Development Project, and Roosevelt Regional Landfill’s H.W. Hill Landfill Gas Power Plant.
- Work with the Forks School District, City, EDC, Port District, and others to find alternative approaches to open pit wood waste burning, and options for reducing fossil fuel dependence.
